In the online Mindfulness groups we follow a structured 8-week plan where you will learn about the ADHD brain, learn exactly what mindfulness is and how it can be practiced to ease the symptoms of ADHD. Each week builds on the last and will introduce a variety of mindfulness exercises specifically chosen to aid ADHD. Mindfulness has been well studied for its benefits to those with ADHD.
Mindfulness helps train attention and focus and helps with our executive functions, not least because it helps us to be more aware of what we are thinking. We also look at dispelling the myths of mindfulness and you’ll be shown how everyone can be mindful and no one can get it wrong. At the end of the 8 weeks you will have completed many mindfulness exercises, and will have a variety of guided meditations to help continue your practice.
The next Mindfulness groups start on Wednesday 22nd November at 7.30pm and Saturday 25th November at 8.00am running for 8 weeks with a week off over the Christmas. For more details, please contact me below.
